I started Mainely Stitches a few years ago soon after I had tried it on a whim one day with a couple of my friends. As I began doing a few small pieces, I felt like I had found my true passion. I love starting with an untouched piece of cloth and watching it become something beautiful and unique. Whether I'm working on a large sampler or a greeting card, I wonder and hope the recipient will experience the joy and contentment I do when I see the finished product. I have won numerous blue ribbons at the Vermont State Fair for my needlework, and the Portrait of Jesus Sampler won the 1997 Vermont State Fair Cross-Stitch Award. In 2005, I was credited in Parents Magazine for a couple of samples that were commissioned. All needlework is personally crafted by me, and stitched on 18-count white or ivory Aida cloth with DMC floss. The New England sampler is stitched on Sky Blue 14-count Aida cloth. These designs are just a few of the many products available. Please feel free to contact me if you have a specific request.

Since moving to Maine, I have expanded my line of greeting cards to include photos. My products can be found at the York Chamber of Commerce Visitor's Center, Nubble Lighthouse Gift Shop, and Joan's Beach Gifts in York, Maine, and Papers Ink in Kittery, Maine. Look for some wall models I've stitched at the Yankee Cross Stitch Needlework Shop in North Hampton, New Hampshire.

Cards do not include the border (enhanced for web viewing). Cards are also available in a smaller oval card (white or red).
